pre and post-surgical rehabilitation

Preparing for any orthopaedic surgery is a vitally important part of the rehabilitation process that is still not universally embraced in the UK.

For example, if you go into a knee operation with poor movement, it will be even more difficult to get the motion back post-operatively, and surgical results are much better if you start with good movement. The same applies to muscle strength – to get you into the best condition you possibly can before your surgery.

Pre-op rehab is therefore worth considering if you are awaiting surgery. Post-operative rehabilitation is as important as the surgery itself, and we work with a large number surgeons and their patients post-operatively.
